About Phil Crippen
Phil Crippen has spent his life showing up for his community, his family, and the people he works alongside. A long time Centerville resident, Phil brings decades of leadership experience and a deep respect for service into his run for Ohio State Representative.
Rooted in Ohio
Phil has called Dayton home since the third grade. He attended Incarnation School and Alter High School, where he played football and ran track, and later earned both his undergraduate degree and MBA from the University of Dayton. Phil spent 40 years working for great companies in southwest Ohio.
Family and Perspective
Phil and his wife, Kathy, live in Washington Township. They are proud parents and grandparents, and longtime members of the Dayton community.
Like many families, Phil’s perspective on leadership and service has been shaped by personal challenges and moments when community support mattered most. Those experiences reinforced his belief in perseverance, compassion, and the importance of showing up for others.
Service Beyond the Office
Phil believes leadership doesn’t stop at work. He has served on boards and organizations that strengthen Ohio communities and support people during critical moments in their lives.
